Goal for next season is to get a better photo of this variety because those green eyes are not nearly as pleasing as what she truly has to offer. This is my most requested Mum. A notable intro by the renowned hybridizer Ted King (of Kings Mums) 'River City' features absolutely gorg light champagne-salmon blooms. This medium-height beaut has a pretty compact habit, making it great to grow in pots too if you’re into that. To achieve its largest and most bodacious blooms, grow as a disbud. In my opinion letting her do her thing creates flowers of a more usable size in the cut flower world. Her darling mutable tones go with just about anything. Ted King, founder of King's Mums, dedicated his life to hybridizing chrysanthemums, and 'River City' remains a standout in his legacy. Fun Fact: It's named after Sacramento in California actually!
