About Freedom Flowers
Hey there! I’m Tracy Sundby — flower grower, heirloom chrysanthemum enthusiast, and proud Floret Workshop grad (Class of 2023). With the support of my husband Mykel and our two boys, Myles and Waylon, I grow, harvest, and dry old-fashioned heirloom flowers on our little farm in Stanwood, Washington.
Freedom Flowers began in 2022 during a season when the garden became a place of healing and hope. Since then, it has grown into a space where I cultivate curiosity from seed to vase and share the nostalgia, beauty, and history of heirloom blooms with my community.
While I grow a wide range of seasonal flowers, 2025–2026 is all about chrysanthemums — the old-time, specialty cut-flower varieties with incredible forms, colors, and stories. Preserving and sharing these heirloom mums has become the heartbeat of the farm, especially as more people discover how truly special they are.
Freedom Flowers offers:
• Seasonal Heirloom Chrysanthemum Bouquets & Centerpieces
• DIY Bulk Bloom Buckets
• Weddings A La Carte
• Bouquet of the Month Flower Club (May–October subscription)
• Seed Swap & Farmstand on Happy Valley Road in Stanwood, WA
• Pop-Up Events & Playshops
• Dried Flowers & Everlasting Bouquets

Everything I grow is rooted in nostalgia, grown with intention, and harvested by hand — flowers meant to spark joy, evoke memories, and bring a little magic into the everyday.
