Bloom Time: Late October – Late November
UK Classification: 1A – Large Incurved
Height: Medium
Named after the breathtaking alpine valley near Mount Jefferson, Jefferson Park absolutely stole my heart last season. I was completely blown away by her beauty.
This light purple incurve has a richness and depth that feels almost velvety in the garden. The petals fold inward into a perfectly sculpted globe. When so much else is fading, she is just hitting her stride.
Strong, upright stems make her a dream for cutting. I recommend growing her as a disbud to let all that energy pour into one good sized bloom per stem, but I've done it both ways and either way she performs well. Jefferson Park is unforgettable — easily one of my favorites in the field. Very limited quantities to share of this variety as I'm trying to multiple my stock. You'll be lucky to grow her in your garden this season!
