Homecoming is an early bloomer — and that first pop of color in mid-September never gets old. It feels like the official shift into mum season and I get genuinely excited to see Homecoming every single year.
 
The blooms are gigantic that open in a rich burnished salmon, soften to peach, and finish in a creamy yellow glow. The color progression alone will blow your mind. 
 
The stems are strong and the plants are sturdy. And because she blooms so early, she can be field grown here without worrying too much about rain damage — which is a big win.
